🗓️ AI Tinkerers Denver Meetup - May 13th from 6:00 - 8:00 🗓️

The AI community in the front range is growing and becoming more integrated… and we’re delighted to see it! I’m sure many of us have a friend who is into AI but hasn’t yet discovered the AI Tinkerers. So, a special request this month… bring a friend! As always, at the May meeting we will start off with some snacks and chat, we’ll discuss the newest most exciting developments in the world of AI, then we’ll move into talks, and finally wrap up with more time to discuss and connect.

🚨SUBMIT YOUR TALK OR DEMO🚨

If you have an AI project you’d like to share, please submit your demo/talk using the link! Don’t be shy!

💡WHAT ARE AI TINKERERS MEETUPS ABOUT❓

AI Tinkerers is for individuals building, tinkering, and working with all things AI. If you’re interested in learning and building with AI or have hands-on experience and are eager to connect with others who share your passion, then AI Tinkerers is for you! The purpose of AI Tinkerers is to promote sharing between individuals, facilitate learning and collaborations, and support each other in innovating and iterating in this rapidly evolving space. Tinkering and building in AI requires experimentation and that is augmented when an open sharing of challenges and discoveries can take place, and we strive to create such an environment of camaraderie and mutual support at the AI Tinkerers Denver events.

🎙️YOUR HOSTS🎙️

Junaid Dawud fell into the AI rabbit hole in early January 2022 when he discovered he could use ChatGPT to start learning to program. Always the self taught/DIY type, he quickly started building and launching iPhone apps that use AI, with his first, BarBot AI, launched less than two months after he wrote his first lines of code. He’s now launched four iOS apps and a ‘meme’ app for the new visionOS. All while trying to “keep up” with AI and his day job!

Alex Volkov is an AI Evangelist at Weights & Biases as well as the founder and host of ThursdAI, a weekly newsletter and podcast that explores the latest innovations in AI, their practical applications, and the open-source AI community. Alex is an AI startup founder with 20 years of full-stack software engineering experience, offering a deep well of insights into AI innovation. He’s celebrated for his ability to clarify and summarize the complexities of the rapid AI advances and advocating for its beneficial uses.
