If you’re an AI tinkerer, enthusiast, developer, data scientist, or other AI innovator, then this is for you! Join us for an exhilarating weekend of collaboration and innovation at the heart of Denver’s burgeoning AI community!

Why Denver?

Colorado’s front range is rapidly emerging as a hub for AI talent and innovation. True to the mission of the AI Tinkerers Denver group, this hackathon celebrates the regions growing AI community by providing an exciting space for collaborative creativity and networking. We’re delighted to partner with Twelve Labs, Groq, and Focused Labs to bring you a cutting-edge hackathon focused on multimodal AI applications! Additional support is being provided by a growing list of collaborators including Brainwave Collective, Freeplay, and Boulder AI Builders. Where?

The Friday “Meet & Mingle”, hosted by Focused Labs, will be at BrewDog Denver, 3950 Wynkoop Street. This will be a great chance to meet other participants and maybe get a jump start on forming a team!

Code Talent, located at 3412 Blake Street, has been providing their awesome venue to AI Tinkerers for over a year now and will be hosting this Multimodal Innovation Hackathon as well! And if anyone wants to hack there all night, they’ve given us the go ahead. There are numerous breweries, coffee houses, and eateries within a few minutes walk of Code where teams can wander and work.

Brainwave Collective will be hosting a technical prep session Tuesday the 30th, before the event, so anyone who wants to get their feet wet with Twelve Labs and Groq can do a little deep dive with them first. This will be at Venture X, located at 2590 Welton St Suite 200.

Focus Areas

We have prepared two suggested focus areas. If you have an idea that doesn’t fit in the suggested focus areas, surprise us. Wildcard entries are most welcome!

Sports Understanding: Leverage multimodal AI to solve problems in sports and exercise analytics in order to boost athletic performance and fitness.

Ecology and Environment: Develop multimodal AI-driven solutions to address challenges in ecology and environmental research.
