🗓️ AI Tinkerers Denver Meetup - January 30th, 2025 🗓️

Join us for our first meetup of the new year! This event will be a bit of a departure from our typical monthly gatherings. We’ll be celebrating the AI community in Denver and reflecting on how far we’ve come over the last two years. While we’ll still have some time for demos, the focus will be more on mingling and connecting with fellow AI builders.

We’ll kick things off with some time to meet and mingle, then we’ll have a few short demos from your fellow AI Tinkerers. After that, we’ll open the floor for a discussion about what you’d like to see from AI Tinkerers in the coming year. Including, yes, another Hackathon. This is a great opportunity to share your thoughts and help shape the future of our community!

If you have an AI project you’d like to share, please submit your demo/talk using the link! Don’t be shy! We’re looking for demos that are 5 to 10 minutes in length. And as I said, the plan this month is to keep the demo portion pretty short.

💡 WHAT ARE AI TINKERERS MEETUPS ABOUT❓

AI Tinkerers is for individuals building, tinkering, and working with all things AI. If you’re interested in learning and building with AI or have hands-on experience and are eager to connect with others who share your passion, then AI Tinkerers is for you! The purpose of AI Tinkerers is to promote sharing between individuals, facilitate learning and collaborations, and support each other in innovating and iterating in this rapidly evolving space. Tinkering and building in AI requires experimentation and that is augmented when an open sharing of challenges and discoveries can take place, and we strive to create such an environment of camaraderie and mutual support at the AI Tinkerers Denver events.

Junaid Dawud, the founder and host of AI Tinkerers Denver-Boulder, will be leading the event. Co-hosting will be Alex Volkov, who brings a wealth of knowledge from his work at Weights & Biases and as the host of ThursdAI and Daniel Ritchie from the Brain Wave Collective who is always diving deep and helping the local AI community get familiar with the rapidly changing AI landscape.
